Fit to Face the Future Project Volunteers

As part of a new service offered by Citizens Advice, the Cheshire East Bureaux are seeking volunteers to be part of a team to provide basic information workshops to groups across the Borough.

Called Fit to Face the Future Workshop Project, the scheme aims to encourage people to manage their finances more effectively and help people take control before they reach crisis point.

If you’re looking for the opportunity to learn new skills and develop existing ones, this project offers roles delivering workshops, assisting in delivering workshops and administration.

Volunteers will receive free training with all expenses paid, as well as the opportunity to be part of a friendly team and work closely with your local community.

All sorts of people volunteer for the CAB, but one thing that unites them all is that they find it challenging, rewarding and varied and you never stop learning.

The workshops will be delivered at various times and locations across the borough including some unsociable hours. Candidates would therefore need some measure of flexibility. Confidence and experience is desirable however full training will be given.
