This service is funded by St. Luke's Cheshire Hospice to provide welfare benefits advice and help people affected by potentially life limiting illness and their families.

iace Adult Social Care Advice Service

Covering anyone who has a health problem or disability and may need adult care and/or support services or who is a carer for someone who has a long term health problem or disability. We can:

  • Offer advice and support regarding all aspects of adult social care.

  • Macmillan Benefits Advice

    This service is for people with a cancer diagnosis and their families.

  • We guide our clients through the benefits system to reduce the financial impact of cancer at this very difficult time. The service covers people in the Leighton Hospital catchment area.

  • Mental Health Advocacy Service

    Covering Crewe, Nantwich, Middlewich, Sandbach and Alsager and surrounding rural areas.

  • Our general advocacy service offers support to people with with mental health problems in understanding and asserting their rights and having their voice heard.

  • Welfare Benefits Advice

    We can:

    • Help you challenge welfare benefits/tax credits decisions
    • Help you with preparing for tribunals
    • Help you with complex benefits issues
    • Advise you if you have not been successful with an appeal

    Money Guidance

    We can:

    • Identify which of your debts are the most important and the consequences of not paying them.
    • Review your budget with you and help you to manage on your income.
    • Identify ways to increase your income.
    • Identify ways to cut down on your spending.
    • Advise you of options to suit you and your circumstances.
    • Advise you of self-help options.
    • Guide you through relevant insolvency options including Debt Relief Orders (DRO), Bankruptcy and Individual Voluntary Agreements (IVA).
