Citizens Advice Cheshire East offer an Email Advice Service for people living and working within Cheshire East that find it difficult to access the office.

Please read the following statement before emailing us with your enquiry:-

  • Please note that we can only give advice by Emails to UK residents within our catchment area.
  • Please title your message in a clear way.
  • Please do not send any attachments as they may be blocked by our anti-virus software.
  • Under the Data Protection Act 1998 we need your consent to store your personal details. By using the Email Advice Service you agree to the following statement:
  • "I give my consent for Citizens Advice Cheshire East to keep a confidential record of my personal information"

Confidentiality

We will keep all details of your enquiry entirely confidential. However, you should be aware that the Internet is not completely secure and that a record of the messages that you send and receive may be kept on the computer you are using, or on other computers in the network. We will only respond to the address of the sender. We will not respond to any other address.

Security

E-mail is not a completely secure method of communication and therefore Citizens Advice Cheshire East will only communicate with you regarding your case if we have your explicit permission to do so.

Initial Contact

For initial contact and enquiry you should fill in a form which you can access by clicking on the following secure web link: CACE Contact Enquiry Form. On completion click on the Submit button at the end of the form, for your message and details to be sent to us.

Response times

We will aim to respond to your enquiry within 3 working days. Please bear in mind that during our busy periods we aim to respond within 5 days.

Complaints

Citizens Advice Cheshire East has a complaints handling procedure. Please email website@cecab.org.uk to request a copy of the complaints leaflet to be either posted or emailed to you.
